Round 7 of the Supercross Series stops in Texas this week at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys. Normally when Jett Lawrence leads qualifying then wins his heat race, it's a given that he is going to win the main as we've see before. An it was exactly playing out that way, until it wasn't. A couple of mistakes by the series points leader cost him 3 positions in the last couple of laps. Cooper Webb took the checkers and seems to be gaining some momentum.
Congratulations to Minnesota Motor Heads on his tiebreaker win in Texas with a score of 600 points. HIs selection of Cooper Webb broke the tie for his fifth career P10 Moto victory. Round 6 of the Supercross Series invaded Glendale, AZ and State Farm Stadium for P10 Moto race number six. The night did not disappoint as the depth of this years field was confirmed once again with our fifth winner in six races. This week it was Suzuki's Ken Roczen who showed his ability to dominate as he not only won his heat race but parlayed a hole shot into a convincing win in the main for his 22nd career victory. Jason Anderson applied some early pressure to the leader but eventually settled into a strong runner-up position. Jett Lawrence rode a rather eventful race which saw him battle back to finish on the podium in third with a late pass of Elio Tomac who showed improvement over his last weeks showing in Detroit finishing fourth. Rounding out the top 5 was Hunter Lawrence with his best performance of the season. The remainder of the top 10 was Dylan Ferrandis in sixth, Cooper Webb in seventh and Malcolm Stewart in eighth. Chase Sexton come in ninth with Aaron Plessinger recovering for an early race fall while running second to finish tenth.

Week 5: Detroit
First round for the East in the 250 class as we visit Ford Field in Detroit for Round 5 of the Supercross season. Indoors eliminates any weather concerns and some fast, rough and ready racing. Week 4: Anaheim 2
Finally some dry racing conditions for the first Triple Crown of the season in Anaheim making for some exciting racing. Triple Crown events are like having three main events on a single night. All out racing for position from the gate drop almost seeming like sudden death with nobody giving ground to anybody else. Consisfancy was the name of the game as Cooper Webb rode a 2-2-5 finishes to win the overall. Eli Tomac and Aaron Plessinger tied for the second and third positions with Tomac taking the tiebreaker best finish in the final main with his first win of the season. Week 3: San Diego
For the second week in a row rain was the variable in play, this time in San Diego. But this time the track started off hard packed and then became slick and rutted rather than the deep thick mud seen in San Francisco.
As in most any supercross race the start is number one most important thing, and even more so in muddy conditions. Justin Cooper got the holeshot but a hard charging Ken Roczen made a quick pass to take the lead with Justin Barcia taking over 2nd place as Roczen opened up a gap early on. Aaron Plessinger took over the second place on lap 4 and began chasing down the leader. On lap 8 Roczen made a mistake costring him the lead and a few more positions. Plessinger took over the lead and never looked back for the win. Justin Barcia and Cooper Webb battled for second until Webb got by and put in a charge coming to within a second+ behind the winner. Barcia survived for the remaining podium spot. Jett Lawrence took fourth from Jason Anderson after a brief battle that seemed to escalate after the checkers flew. More to come about that for sure. Rounding out the top 10 was Dylan Ferrandis in sixth, Hunter Lawrence in seventh, Chase Sexton in eighth, Eli Tomac in ninth and Dean Wilson in tenth.
Taking top honors in P10 Moto this week is Mac8 with a top score of 568 points for his first ever career win. Finishing second was scrbowler with 617 points followed by Minnesota Motor Heads in third with 615 points.
1st place Mac8 - 658 pts (career win #1)

Week 2: San Francisco
Word of the day: RAIN. The first mudder of the season as the rain just kept falling throughout the day limiting qualifying to only one session. Jorge Prado took the top spot and first gate pick for the event which led to a heat win for the reigning MXGP champ in his second ever supercross racing event. Aaron Plessinger won the other heat race.
In the main event start meant everything and on this day it was Chase Sexton who grabbed the early lead and never looked back, earning him his first victory of the season and the red plate as points leader. Charging in third place at the line was Ken Roczen who again come from the back after a early race issue. Shane McElrath had a good showing coming home fourth place followed by Aaron Plessinger who rallied from an early race get off to finish fifth giving him two top fives for the season. Week 1: Anaheim
Finally, we are back on the track! No more bench racing and SWAG about what might happen in 2024. All the talk stops once the gate drops.
The new kid on the block (Jett Lawrence) once again flexed his youth at all comers taking the checkers for his first win in the 450 class in his first ever start. It was also the first time that a rookie has done that so kudos to Jett Lawrence. Surprisingly strong rides from Jason Anderson and Cooper Webb as they battled with each other all night while hanging close to front runner Lawrence until a late get off by Webb dropping him to sixth. Aaron Plessinger showed some speed finishing in fourth followed by Dylan Ferrandis on his new Honda mount in fifth. Justin Barcia, rookie Justin Cooper, Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen rounded out the resf of the top 10 finishers.
