Champion Team – P10 Select
2015 was a milestone for the LROC Series since it was a landmark 10th season. A brand new league joined the series for the first time, MGTNFRL headed up by Michael Tilghman. MGTNFRL would replace The Cool Pool who left the series to pursue other ventures.MGTNFRL’s inaugural team consisted of some members who also played in Lucky Dog Racing and P10 Select. They joined MGTNFRL and used that opportunity to play in LROC for the first time. The team consisted of Michael Tilghman, John Boros, Dave Smith, Al Allison, Joe Tenpenny and John Whiddon. Michael Tilghman and Dave Smith would each win two races but unfortunately there would be no team wins for MGTNFRL in their first season.Lucky Dog Racing was coming off two championships in a row and were looking for another big year. They had two first time members make their debut in the LROC series, Jack Thesier and Randy Cook. Unfortunately their bid for a third championship fell shortIt was P10 Select that had the dominant year. Their driver, Philip Goodman also won the championship in his first year in the series. Philip won the championship by 23 points over Jose Rodriguez. He finished the season with 3 wins including the final race of the season at Homestead. He became the 3rd winner from P10 Select to win the title in their history.P10 Select won their 2nd championship and their first since the 2008 season. They ended the season with 8 team wins and had 7 of their members go to victory lane.With 10 seasons in the books, the LROC series looks ahead to the future for a new era.
