2011 Champion Team – Lucky Dog RacingAfter the success of season 5 with the return of The Cool Pool and the more simplified rules of fixed deadlines, there was no need to change anything for season 6. The league kept the same rules and same teams. The only change would be that the league would adopt the new NASCAR simplified points system. The 2011 schedule only allowed 16 races, 2 less than the last 2 previous seasons.Lucky Dog Racing would win its second championship by a small margin of victory by just 62 points over P10 Select. It would be the 2nd consecutive championship for the team. Don Hardison Jr. would win the driver’s championship under The Cool Pool. It would be Don’s first championship in his first appearance.Just like the previous season, each team would place a driver in the top three finishing spots. John Reilley would finish in 2nd place for P10 Select while Lucky Dog Racing’ highest driver would be Ed Blackman in 3rd.
