Heads Up Racing League Rules
P10 Select Heads Up Racing League is a 20 team league broken up into four 5 team divisions. Teams will follow a season schedule which will identify what other team they will compete against in each week of the 28 week regular season. The league will be be based on wins and losses. Outscore your opponent each week and you get a win. The league will use a unique scoring system where players will select the winner of 10 different matchups of NASCAR drivers where they will assign a confidence value to each selection using all 10 numbers with 10 being most confident selection and 1 being least. Players must use all 10 number values so no duplicate values will be allowed. 12 Teams will make the playoff bracket and vie for the HURL Championship.
**Since this format dictates that an entry needs to be submitted every week there will be a format for any missed entries to make sure no teams will be a free win due to those missed selections.
- reverse qualifying results will be used to make an default selections
- slowest qualifier on entry sheet will be selected as first winner with a 10 point weight
- next slowest qualifier will be select as second winner with 9 points
- this will be followed till all matches have a winner selection and points assigned
- * if a driver's apponent has already been assigned the win we will move up the list to the next driver
League players will be allowed 3 missed entries per season where at that point they will be replaced.

Division Tiebreakers
- 1st Tiebreaker Most Division wins
- 2nd Tiebreaker Head to Head Results

Non-Division Tiebreakers
- 1st Tiebreaker Head to Head Results
Division Ties handled first then non-Division Ties
Playoffs will be held in weeks 29-36. 12 teams will make the playoffs. The top 4 teams in each division will move on. Teams will be seeded 1-12 based on record with heads up results breaking any ties. Week 29 will be a single week game with the top 4 seeded teams getting a bye into round 2. Seeds 5-12 will play with the following schedule.
- Seed #5 vs Seed #12
- Seed #6 vs Seed #11
- Seed #7 vs Seed #10
- Seed #8 vs Seed #9
Round 2 will be a single game week using P10 Cup week 30 with the 4 top seeds playing the 4 winners from Round 1 using the following shedule.
- Quarter-Final #1: Seed #1 vs the lowest seed remaining
- Quarter-Final #2: Seed #2 vs the next lowest seed remaining
- Quarter-Final #3: Seed #3 vs the third lowest seed remaining
- Quarter-Final #4: See #4 vs the highest seed remaining
Round 3 (Semi-Finals) will use a 3 week schedule (P10 Cup weeks 31,32 & 33) where the best 2 out of three winners will advance. The following schedule will be used for all three weeks.
- Semi-Final #1: Highest remaining seeded team vs Lowest remaining seeded team
- Semi-Final #2: 2nd Highest remaining seeded team vs 3rd Highest remaining seeded team
Round 4 will be Weeks 34-36 for a 3 game finals between the Semi-Finals winners.
- Week 34: Game 1
- Week 35: Game 2
- Week 36: Game 3 (if necessary)
Playoff Tiebreakers broken as follows:
- First tiebreaker will be 1st selection highest score.
- Second tiebreaker will be 2nd selection highest score.
- Tiebreaker will be applied throughout the remaining positions one at a time until the tie is broken
- If still tied after all 10 tiebreakers have been applied the overall best regular season record will be declared the winner.
