Week 31 - Talladega
Results for Talladega are now complete. Race one of the best of three semi finals. SPEEDBUMP57 got a gift when mwsteinf had trouble with his car and had to take a DNS (0). SPEEDBUMP57 takes a 1-0 lead heading to the Charlotte ROVAL. In the second match ronblackman bested the hot hand of Freedom Motorsports where the "BIG ONE" effected all scoring. 28-17 score gives ronblackman a 1-0 lead in the round.

Congratulations to mwstienf, SPEEDBUMP57, ronblackman and Freedom Motorsports on their wins to move into Round 3 which will be a best of 2 out of 3 races for a spot in the finals. The bracket is posted on the main page with the first race being at Talladega in week 31.
Week 26 - Darlington

With 2 weeks to go it is a battle for position in the bracket as well as a battle for who gets in and who is left out. The battle for top spot in the Pearson division is one to watch. Both Freedom Motorsports and Stormdevil have 18 wins each. The team who comes out on top will get a first round bye, the loser has to play in round 1.

Week 24 - Michigan
Results for Michigan are now complete. If the season ended today, 11 wins and you are in the playoffs. 10 wins waits till next year. With 4 weeks to go there can be a lot of changes happen. Everybody is jockying for position in the playoff bracket.
FYI - Week 23 Change for wrong entry deadline
In week 23 there was a wrong deadline time in the system causing the entry form to switch to Week 24 at Michigan too early. All race deadlines are set to the race green flag time approximate. There were 4 entries that were on the wrong week which has different matchups than the previous week meaning there is no possibility of using last weeks picks. A decision was made to allow the Michigan matchups to be scored with the Richmond results for scoring. In reality it doesn't really matter who the matchups have, the player has to successfully select the higher finishing driver to earn any points. The true deadline time is still the bar and should always be adhered to. Any questions or concerns can be sent to me via text or email. Thanks, Steve.
Week 23 - Richmond
Results for Richmond are official. We have 2 teams sitting at 16-7 with both of them fighting it out in the Pearson Division (Freedom Motrorsports and Stormdevil) for the top spot. Five weeks left in the regular season!
Week 22 - Indianapolis
Results for Indianapolis are official. We have 3 teams sitting at 15-7 with two of them fighting it out in the Pearson Division (Freedom Motrorsports and Stormdevil). If the playoffs began today, 4 teams with 10 wins would be applying tiebreakers to fill the final 2 spots available. Six more weeks to go!!
Week 21 - Pocono
Results are posted for Pocono. As it stands today it takes 10 wins to make the playoffs. That number will rise at least one to three more possibly so each win counts big. Best of Luck!!
Week 20 - Chicago
Results from Chicago are now posted. The race to get into the playoffs is thickening up as there are 4 teams at 9-11 fighting for 2 spots currently. Fun to watch each week to see the drama on the track transfer into the results Heads Up. As we head to week 21 that means there are only 8 weeks remaining in the regular season. Every week counts!!! Best of Luck.
FYI
Apparently we are in the midst of HURL having a lack of interest issue as we have been having multiple missing picks over the last few weeks. There is a format for picks being able to be assigned to missing picks to prevent teams from just getting a free win when their opponent wins. I understand their can be an overload on the amount of picks each week which can become overwhelming. If that's the case no worry, just let me know and all is good. If I can make the format easier for everyone then I can look at that as well. thanks for any input you might have.
Week 19 - Nashville
Wk 19 Scores are now official. Matchup race of the week goes to Draftpack3_88 vs Duff Drinker. Both ended the week with 39 pts and both had their tiebreaker as Kyle Larson. Next tiebreaker was 10 pts confidence winner. Both drivers selected won. Next went to 9 pts confidence winner and both selections won. Next move to the 8pts selection and Duff Drinkers picks won and Draftpack3_88's pick lost his match giving Duff Drinker the tiebreaker win.
Top score of the week is Minnesota Motor Heads with 50 pts.
Week 18 - New Hampshire
Wk 18 Scores are now official. Tough week for the league with 4 teams being no shows and having to take default picks. Let us not forget we cannot do "use last weeks picks" for this series. Stormdevil holding onto best record at 13-5. 10 weeks left in the regular season.

Week 10 - Talladega
Week 9 - Texas
Week 8 - Martinsville
It was the 40th anniversary of Hendrick Motosports first ever Cup series win. 1984 Geoff Bodine won in Martinsville. Hendrick Motorsports celebrated as they finished 1 - 2 - 3 (Byron - Larson - Elliott) in the Cook Out 400 for the first time ever a team has had a 1 - 2 - 3 finish at Martinsville. Congrats to our winners this week. High scorer this week was Fatboys Racing with 49 points.
Week 7 - Richmond
Scores are now posted and a timing issue happened with 3 of our drivers making it 4 total who had to use the default picks this week. With that happening we now are left with noone that doesn't have a loss.
Lots of season to go or anyone to pull up stakes just yet. Congrats to our winners this week. High scorer this week was Minnesota Motor Heads with 54 points.
Week 6 - COTA
Scores were high this week on the road course. Lavalight continues with her perfect season with a one point win to go 6-0. High score this week was lowmac300 having 54 points.
Week 5 - Bristol
Only one remaining team without a loss, lavalight moves to 5-0 with her win this week. All division races are still close from top to bottom but that would be normal for only 5 weeks huh? :) Top score this week was 1 mikes40 with 40 points. Now off to some road racing in Texas next week.
Week 4 - Phoenix
Phoenix picks proved to be much tougher than normal with some new faces running up front this week making scores overall lower than normal. Driver mathups also proved close as many finished within a few positions of their matchup opponent. High score of the week is Purple10 who takes over the vacated spot left by Jensenators. 3 teams have perfect records as we head to Week 5.
Week 3 - Las Vegas
Same track layout this week in Las Vegas but a whole different kind of racing. A dominant performance by Kyle Larson but if you look a little closer you might have to give more than some credit to Tyler Reddick in my opinion. Both ran one two in both stages and finished just a skosh apart at the finish. If nothing else he kept him honesf.
High score for the week was 33 points by mwsteinf and Stormdevil. 3 teams still undefeated but there is a long way to go so keep at it. Things can change verfy quickly in HURL.
Week 2 - Atlanta
To say Atlanta racing is becoming one of the more unpredictable races on the schedule and Week 2 was no exception. Scoring was all over the board as many favorite picks crashed out while a few battled at the for the top spot. High score for the week was Riney Outlaw Express with 33 points. Hard luck score for the week scored only 7 points. Congrats to all our winners this week. Only four teams are left with perfect 2-0 records. Scores are now posted.
Week 1 - Daytona
After a day postponement we finally got to some racing action as the Daytona 500 got front stage around 3pm CST on Monday. Better late than never I always say. Heads Up Racing also gets its first action with all teams taking their selections for one of the seasons more uncertain races of the year. After one BIG ONE the final results found some proven winners and some new faces in the top 10. Top score for the week was Dkraftpack3_88 and lavalight with 34 total points while a couple teams had some bad luck on their way to a poultry 19 point effort. We had one tie that saw 1 mikes40 edge JG4TMR in a tiebreaker along with defending champion ronblackman edging out a win 30-29. Scores are now posted.
Welcome to the 2024 season of HURL. Our defending champion ronblackman is back looking to defend his crown. Best of Luck!!
